Ok this crap is ridiculous. In my gut I just KNEW Nicky was going to get hurt at that stupid X Games competition.

Why the hell a GP rider (that is hurting/sucking this year) would risk his GP career by riding in one off, meaningless race is beyond me. Ok, so something like Suzuka 8 hours is one thing, but the X Games!?!?

What a waste. I bet Honda and his team are somewhat pissed. Or am I missing something and Honda wanted him to ride?

I just don't get it. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I was turned onto this forum via Gixxer.com. I currently have an 07' Ninja ZX6, but am looking to get on a Gixxer 750 this year, or possibly a liter bike. I used to own a GSXR1000 K3, but I sold it when I met the wife back in '03. I then decided to get back into bikes and figured I'd try out a 6 to see what they felt like after a few years. My inclination was to have it be my track only bike.

Been riding since I was 15 and I'n 38 now. First bike was a 1988 600R Ninja back in the day, and ...

Jones, 23, died last night, following an incident during the World Supersport race at Brands Hatch. Honda have admitted they were not ambitious enough in their performance targets for 2007. The world championship-winning manufacturer have struggled since MotoGP's switch from 990cc to 800cc bikes, prompting Honda HRC chief Satoru Horiike to admit they are lacking power.

"We must recognise that we made a mistake when we set out targets - our bike needs a more powerful engine," he told Motosprint magazine.

"The level we set ourselves for the first year of 800cc was not ...

Epic-ish race, boring at the forefront but the spirit and battles of the mid-fielders really saved the day.

first off, credit where it is due: Hayden, most talked about/mentioned man today. ".... looks on the inside of HAYDEN...", "...just passed HAYDEN and he is back to... ", "..HAYDEN seems to be struggling with his machine..." "..HAYDEN is now down another position.." (dovizioso - 4 races fresh > Hayden, ~4 YEARS in motogp)

I'm not quite sure when or how this will be useful but I'm sure it will serve its purpose at some point in time.

IE, you are sitting at you desk. You have 13 beautiful co-workers (vimmens/men) and you are having a hard time deciding which one you'd like to have as flavour of the moment (etc). If you did something like this, you would no longer have a problem.

41 years old in Annapolis, MD, riding for 23 years. Owned bazillion of bikes, currently an Aprilia Tuono 07.

Heard about the forum on our AF1 (Aprilia) forum.

Big fan of racing but because of intensive travel worldwide I tend to miss quite a bit of televised races:(

So what does one have to do to get a permission to watch the races here?

LR Lovers (that's you Ali!), get your hands on Clarkson's 'The Good, The Bd and The Ugly' - it's a comparision between autos of America and Europe, best of both. Most of it was predictable but in segment 3, an Escalade (JC pronounces it esca-laad!) and a H2 represent America. Guess which one comes out on top!
